Next steps.

[Jack Hill] 2. He has another contact who is a member of city council. She's a democrate, and they worked on a congressional campaign in '06 together when she was a volunteer/housewife and he was a staffer. He's going to find a charity event she knows will be well-attended by the city council members and buy himself access to it even if he has to eat ramen for a month (Note: he has resources 3 so should be able to finagle a $250/a plate dinner or a $100/a head silent auction thing.) Then he's going to presume on his contact with Jen (the councilwoman) to get an introduction to a moderate Republican councilman with ties to business.

AND THEN: he's going to chat up the councilman about BlackSun. Not talking about environmental impacts, but instead worrying a bit about the negative effect on property values in lakeview and on the potential negative effect on tourism, business, lakefront development, that sort of thing. Basically: he's looking to create awareness of BlackSun as negative in the business community/among wealthier Chicagoans. [Tell me what to roll? He's doing this more from a political perspective, too. Like, convincing the REpublican that most of his constituents will agree/convincing the dude he wants to be out front on the issue.]

Roll politics + clout to be included, and expression + Clout to do the convincing.

First roll: politics + clout

[Jack Hill] Second roll: expression + clout + WP

[Mei] witnessed!
